Hello/Bonjour. My name is Fram Engineer.
A serendipitous sequence of events led me to Shawn Dawson and Dream Mountains Foundation. A life long learner - keenly interested in the world around me - and recently retired, it's time to start the next phase of my life. The time is right, my family is enthusiastic, and my children will help get me into shape, so how can I turn down this opportunity?

Over and above my own desires, I am mindful that this is a charity climb.

I believe that human dignity is the fundamental basis for human rights and serves as a foundation for building strong respectful communities. The charity I have selected is Care Canada. Care Canada is all about improving human dignity in the poorest of countries and so I will dedicate my journey to their vision and mission.

Being active in the community is important to me. I have been a Scout leader for the past 10 years and as a public servant in the Federal government, one of the highlights in my career was to run the Government of Canada Workplace Charitable Campaign for my department.

With these experiences, I can attest to the positive contribution and influence charitable organizations make in building a better world.

In May 2012, I made it to Everest Base Camp. In 2013, I look forward to this adventure and experience. Hopefully the outdoor skills we practice in Scouts will stand me in good stead.

Please help me support Care Canada in fulfilling their vision and mission.

Cheers!
