Life is full of challenges and some of us are more fortunate than others. For those who are less fortunate others must step up and offer a helping hand. This is why I have challenged myself to climb Machu Picchu and with your help raise much needed funds for SOS Children's Villages.

SOS Children's Villages operates 500 Children's Villages worldwide providing loving homes to orphaned and abandoned children.

Helping others has always been in my soul as I am a Registered Nurse working in an Intensive Care Unit, and a Emergency Department. Saving lives is one thing but being able to make a difference in a child's life is another. This climb is a chance to challenge myself while making a difference in the life of a child.

Being a member of several community organizations over the years I have come to learn that a little help from many can make a big difference. This is why I reach out to you and ask for contributions to my chosen charity SOS Children's Villages with a goal to raise $5000.
