After raising their goal of over $100,000 for charity, the Dream Team arrived at the Springlands Hotel in Moshi, Tanzania to deliver on their end of the bargain...to climb to the roof of Africa!

The Team had a chance to kick back and relax for a day while awaiting their team leader Shawn Dawson and team member Don Lanouette whose flight was delayed an entire day! Despite this minor setback the group made their way into the town of Moshi to do a little last minute expedition shopping and just generally explore their surroundings.

As the sunset this evening, the clouds lifted on Mt. Kilimanjaro and the team was given their first full scale view of the challenge ahead (PIC HDP_5080). There were some nervous looks but overall the mood was one of anticipation and excitement for the upcoming adventure!

Tomorrow morning we will be heading out at 8:30am to begin our first day on the mountain! The team would like to thank everyone for their support on this quest! We could not do this without you!
